2011 Wine Blog Award Nominations Now Open

The nomination period for the 2011 Wine Blog Awards is now open and will run for one week through May 31st. To nominate a blog for any of the eight awards categories (including Best Wine Blog), please click on the posting below for the appropriate award category and simply provide a comment. (EDITED: Please don’t add a comment to THIS post as we won’t know which for which category you are nominating a blog. Put a post on one of the earlier blog posts, one for each category.) We will record all nominated blogs and our judging panel will begin to sift through them starting June 1st. Please keep in mind a few things:

1. Blogs need only be nominated one time to be eligible. Please read the previous comments in an award category as there is no need to nominate a blog that has already been nominated. If you want to add your own comment, please do so by commenting on the initial comment that nominated that blog.
2. All English language wine blogs worldwide are eligible.
3. To be eligible, a blog must have posted consistently and frequently during the preceding year (i.e. May 2010 through May 2011); there is no minimum post requirement this year. Blogs nominated for the Best New Wine Blog award must have been established no earlier than one year prior to the nomination period (i.e. May 25, 2010).
4. Please help this process by spreading the word on your blog about the nomination period.
